Welcome back to another school year!
Lots of exciting new things going on this year and I can't wait to get started! I have some fun new challenges for the kids in Makerspace this year, as well as some old favorites, so stay tuned! We also have some cool new educational tech gadgets that the kids are going to love, so this is going to be an awesome year! The Scholastic Book Fair will be returning to our school in the fall, so I hope you will support our library by stopping by. We have made a lot of wonderful improvements to the library, new book collections, new games and activities, and soon our library will be arranged by genre, making it easier for the kids to find their favorite books. Of course, this wouldn't be possible without the help of our fabulous PTO, community and staff...so thank you for all you do! See you in the halls!

Hello and welcome to another year!
As you all know, I started a new position at Stove this year and I appreciate all of you being so patient while I learn the ropes as your new secretary! Learning all the new software programs has kept me quite busy throughout the first trimester of the school year, but now that things are settling in I'm excited to catch you up on all the cool stuff we've been doing in the makerspace and technology lab! Between our fundraisers with Mishawaka, money from the PTO, and donations from the community, we have started to build a fun space for our kids to create, read, learn and grow! Every Thursday we have makerspace or coding activities, and every Friday we have typing and technology lessons. We hope to ignite your child's true passion! It has been proven that when kids are engaged in creative thinking, they learn at a deeper lever, and that's just the kind of atmosphere we're trying to create! We've also updated our library with over 60 new book titles that the kids are really excited about, so we hope you'll drop in and take a peek! Again, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! See you in the halls!

Hi!
I'm Ms. Lisa, the new media/tech at Stove Prairie, and I am delighted to be working at your school! I'm excited to meet your children and explore the wonderful world of books and computers with them! (Two of my favorite things) :)
Let me introduce myself...My husband and I have a daughter that recently started middle school at CLP (yikes!). We live 33 miles up the Poudre Canyon in an old log cabin, and we love the outdoors! I attended Front Range Community College, and then received my BFA in Computer Art and Art History at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I taught preschool for four years at Red Feather Lakes Elementary, and worked two years as their media/tech as well. I was a volunteer with the Poudre Canyon Fire Department for 11 years as an NREMT, retiring last summer to explore new things. I was a Girl Scout leader for 5 years and also coached soccer for 3 years. I love being around kids, their incredible energy, and their thirst for learning new things. They inspire me!
I am thrilled to be working with the staff at Stove Prairie, as well as being a part of the mountain schools! Growing up in Los Angeles, I can tell you that the mountain school community is truly the best place to raise a child!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me any time!
See you in the halls!
