We had our first session on the computers today...it took some learning, but the kids picked it up pretty quickly and then they were off and creating! Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 worked on Google Slide shows while the K-1 class worked on muscle memory playing mouse control games.
We will be working hard to improve our typing skills and our knowledge of the computer, so stay tuned for future links the kids can enjoy at home! In the meantime, here is the link for the K-1 class if they would like to continue playing the mouse games at home....minimouse.us. Thanks for dropping by!

The school year was kicked off with a solar eclipse, and I hope you all had a chance to see it! It was spectacular! I observed it from Casper, Wyoming, and my family and I had a lot of fun! The traffic on the way home however, not so fun! (but totally worth it) :) Anyways, I've created this blog and website so that you can always see what kind of fun we are up to in the media/tech lab! Our first class was on Friday, and we learned all about library rules, how to be a library ninja (ask your kids about that), and we also watched a video about internet safety and digital citizenship.
I love posting photos of the work we are doing in class, so please make sure you have turned in your permission forms regarding images of your child on the internet. In the meantime, I will post photos from the back, or I will blur out their faces. :) |
Media/Tech FunI will be blogging about our weekly adventures in Media and Technology, so be sure to visit often! We're always doing something cool! :) Archives
